Remove from the heat and allow to cool – leave for two or more hours to infuse, putting it in the fridge after an hour. Once the milk is coloured pale yellow and fragrant with the aroma of saffron, remove it from the fridge and allow to reach room temperature (you can reheat it to lukewarm.) |
