Even if you were to spray the plant now with a systemic fungicide, it would still look bedraggled – although any new foliage it managed to produce through the mess might well look pristine. The best thing to do would be to cut the plant right back to the ground (Oooh, I can feel you wincing…), then carefully clear away the unsightliness. |
